What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as your language preference or whether you have already acknowledged the cookie notice — so you do not have to provide the same information on every page.

Cookies do not give websites access to your device or files. They store only the information the website has placed there.

Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

Always active — cannot be disabled

These cookies are required for the website to work. They handle session management and remember your cookie consent choice so we do not display the notice on every page load.

cookieConsent — stores your cookie preference choices. Duration: 12 months.

Analytics Cookies

Optional — helps us improve the site

These cookies collect aggregated, anonymised information about how visitors use this site — which pages are visited most, how long people spend on them, and where they navigate from. This helps us understand what content is useful.

_ga, _gid — Google Analytics. Duration: up to 2 years / 24 hours respectively.

Marketing Cookies

Optional — used if advertising is active

If we run advertising campaigns, these cookies may be placed by platforms such as Google Ads or Meta to measure whether an advertisement led to an enquiry. We do not use marketing cookies to build profiles for third-party advertising networks.

_fbp, _gcl_au — Meta Pixel / Google Ads conversion. Duration: up to 90 days.

Preference Cookies

Optional — remembers your settings

These cookies remember choices you make on the site — such as display preferences — so you do not need to reset them on each visit.

Cookie Duration

Cookies fall into two duration categories:

  • Session cookies — exist only while your browser is open. When you close your browser, they are deleted automatically. Used for temporary navigation state.
  • Persistent cookies — remain on your device until their expiry date or until you delete them. Our consent cookie is persistent so we remember your choice across visits.

Managing Cookies in Your Browser

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking essential cookies may affect how the site functions.

Google Chrome
Go to Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data. From here you can block all third-party cookies, clear existing cookies, or set exceptions for specific sites. To delete cookies for a specific site, visit the site, click the padlock in the address bar, and select "Cookies and site data".
Mozilla Firefox
Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. You can choose your protection level (Standard, Strict, Custom), clear existing data, or manage exceptions. Firefox also offers Enhanced Tracking Protection which blocks many third-party tracking cookies by default.
Apple Safari
On Mac: go to Safari → Settings → Privacy. On iPhone or iPad: go to Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security. You can block all cookies, block cross-site tracking, or manage cookies per site. Use "Manage Website Data" to view and delete stored cookies.
Microsoft Edge
Go to Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data. You can block third-party cookies, clear cookies on browser close, or manage site-specific permissions. Edge also offers Tracking Prevention with Basic, Balanced or Strict modes under Privacy, search, and services.

Your Rights

You have the right to withdraw or update your cookie consent at any time using the controls on this page. Withdrawing consent for optional cookies does not affect any processing that occurred while consent was in place.

Disabling analytics cookies means we cannot track aggregated usage data from your visits. Disabling marketing cookies means advertising platforms we work with will not be able to measure whether their placements reached you.
